Age of Wastage
Currently a lot of good bikes end up at the West London recycling sites, that with some checks and upgrades can be a great bike for someone. Our disposable society throwing away stuff that can be used again has become the norm. In contrast the world is grappling with environmental challenges and depleting resources, recycling and reusing is very much needed. Mining which includes metal, has huge environmental impacts, such as shown in The Environmental Problems caused by Mining.
We need to move to a circular economy where we use things for longer and repair them over their lifetime. By using our bikes for longer we, the less their environmental cost of its manufacturer. There is an estimated annual total of 27,500 potential discarded bicycles in London according to Transport for London Research. Many of these bikes are dumped and most end up in landfill. This is where ReActon helps by refurbishing these dumped bikes and selling them at affordable prices. They are diverting bikes and repairing for us to enjoy. These Refurbished Bikes for Sale in Acton provide cheap and sustainable transport options.
ReActon also offers at Acton Market Free Tyre Checks and chain checks. Discounted bike services are also available, you pay for only for the parts needed. No labour to pay for, you simple pay for parts. Get your bike running smoothly again for less than half of what you’d usually pay!
